Getting Here and Around
Kraków is easily reached by plane, train, and bus. The local airport Balice maintains direct connections with the majority of European cities. Similarly, Kraków main train station is served by EuroCity trains with direct connections to Budapest, Prague, Vienna, and other cities. MDA Bus Station, just next to the train station, offers international connections as well.
Participants who would like to come through Warszawa can either change for Kraków at the airport (a 50-minute flight) or get to Kraków by train (the trip takes about 2 hours 30 minutes).
As a tourist city, Kraków has a large and varied choice of accommodation: a wide range of the highest standard, five- and four-stars hotels, medium standard (three-star) hotels along with a relatively well-developed sector of economy hotels.
